My task for this assignment was to demonstrate my understanding of how ISO changes photographs. I learned that higher ISO seemed to work best in my darker light setting, a medium ISO worked well in a moderate light setting and a low ISO worked best in a bright setting. In this assignment, I struggled with finding a perfect place with the right light setting and taking photographs that looked good instead of just taking pictures of random bits and pieces.
I noticed that as my ISO increased more noise appeared on my pictures. This assignment taught me that in order to keep a lower noise level, my ISO needs to be low as well. Keeping my f-stop low and my shutter speed a little slower would let in the perfect amount of light allowing me to keep my ISO low too. Overall, I thought this assignment was fun and made me realize that I liked taking pictures in a bright setting the best.
